Nestled in the scenic town of Myponga on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, Fleurieu Gin sought to elevate its energy independence. The goal was to upgrade their solar system with hybrid inverters, battery storage, and backup capability — ensuring reliable, sustainable power for their operations.
The project began with the removal of two existing Sungrow 10kW single-phase inverters, replacing them with two new 10kW SH10RS hybrid inverters. We installed backup cabling and additional AC isolators to future-proof the setup. By late July, the system was expanded further with two impressive stacks of 19.2kWh Sungrow SBR192 batteries, securely mounted with bollards to protect the investment — including isolator adjustments and switchboard access — ensured everything was safe, compliant, and optimised.
Now, with a 26.6kW solar build paired with powerful battery storage, Fleurieu Gin enjoys a reliable and resilient energy solution that supports their production while reducing reliance on the grid.
Adrian and his team were amazing and tailor made a system to suit our requirements and explained it so even the novice can understand it and also the financial benefits of the system. Great outcome for me and a great local business to deal with.
