As you have probably read in our past news posts and also on our webpage, TTEC is committed to providing Carbon Neutral Events, and being an environmentally friendly company. Well now we have found yet another way we can contribute to cutting greenhouse gas emissions and helping the environment.We have just discovered Bio Fuels, and will share the knowledge with you now.Bio Fuels are fuels that are derived from biomass, such as oil from plants, manure from cows, wood from trees and so on. It is a renewable energy source, unlike natural energy sources such as petroleum, coal and nuclear. The production of biofuels to replace petroleum-based oil and natural gas is in active development. The carbon in biofuels was recently extracted from atmospheric carbon dioxide by growing plants, so burning it does not result in a net increase of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere.
